Dear Friends,

This year has almost come to an end. It has certainly been a year where Nepalese fashion has reawakened to a new life. Events like the Sunsilk Nepal Fashion Week and all of the great fashion events that have been organized all over the city has given all of us a hope in the darkness of conventionality and prejudice. There has certainly been an upsurge in this sphere and even though our markets maybe flocked with Chinese clothes, I must say that most of them look good. To be frank about 90% of the Nepalese people do not have the luxury of being brand conscious. So the market is certainly pleasing for them this year.

We have been constantly working on the major aspect of fashion with close relevance to Nepal (that has indeed been difficult); I don't know if we have succeeded but out articles could provide you with a sense of truth and the fact that you can easily identify yourself with them. Fact is, all of us have the same bent of mind with only a few differences.

Our cover story is basically about the wedding season which might be a lot of help to all those tying the knot of matrimony. I would also like to point out that we have focused more on tips for men this time because it is obviously men who need help. Sometimes men tend to be nothing more than a one look wonder and that is where they get entangled into a mess.

There are also other articles that have centered themselves on the fall season. The interview with Mr. Sakya features a new column on entrepreneurs who believe that fashion is not just a state of mind. This has interestingly proved to be a much more popular option among the trendy elder generation.
